We have all seen the media coverage about increasing racist and anti-migrant activity, including in our communities.

We know that many people are feeling unsafe, intimidated and frightened by recent events and we stand with you and against racist and discriminatory action, commentary and behaviour.

Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership is proud to have a diverse workforce – it is our collective strength – all working together to serve our diverse communities.  We want to reaffirm how important this is to us across health, care and voluntary organisations, and our commitment to ensuring that both colleagues and those who use our services are respected, valued, and feel safe.

Last year, in response to civil unrest, we pledged to stand firm against any form of racism and we collectively do that again.

We encourage everyone to remind ourselves what this means for us all as individuals, and more importantly, if you have experienced or witnessed racist or discriminatory behaviour whilst at work, please report it and/ or seek support either in your own organisation, or across our place.

Bradford District and Craven is a diverse and inclusive place.  All our people are valued for the uniqueness and the experiences that they bring, which in turn is reflected in the compassion that we show for each other and the diverse communities that we serve.
