Veterans support

We want to ensure that our veteran community and their families who work in the NHS are supported during what may be a very challenging time.

Mental health problems are common and can affect anyone, including veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families. It is important to get help and support if you or someone you know has mental health problems.

General guidance to veterans

The Armed Forces community encompasses individuals who have served in the Armed Forces and those affiliated with them, including service leavers, veterans, reservists, members of the wounded, injured & sick community, family members and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.

The values held by members of the Armed Forces community closely align to the NHS ways of working and values, with particular emphasis on service, commitment and respect.
