Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership will hold its Partnership Board meeting in public at Royds Enterprise Park, Almond Room, BD6 3EW on Friday 3 February 9am- 12noon. The Partnership Board is the key decision-making body for health and care in Bradford District and Craven.

In December, the Health and Care Partnership led on another week of ‘Listen in’ activities, visiting community groups and local people in Bradford South to understand what matters most to them. Throughout the week, eighteen groups were visited by community involvement teams and senior leaders from across the partnership, who listened first hand to people’s experiences.

The feedback from ‘Listen in Bradford South’ will be presented and discussed in the Partnership Board meeting, and has been published in a report that is available on engagebdc.com

Elaine Appelbee, Chair of Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership Board said, “It is important we continue to have conversations with local people outside of our ‘Listen in’ weeks. I firmly believe our communities have the power to shape health and care services and it is part of our job to reflect on insight and action next steps.

“We want to have open and transparent conversations with our communities to understand what matters most to them and how we can work together to improve health outcomes for people in Bradford District and Craven.

“I encourage our communities to ask questions to our Partnership Board which will be answered in our public meetings openly and transparently.”

The key agenda items being discussed at the meeting on Friday 3 February include:

  • Public questions – questions asked by the public will be brought to the board for discussion and answering
  • Feedback from ‘Listen in’ – a report of views and experiences from local people from Bradford South about what matters most to them around health and care services will be presented
  • Place based lead update – board members will hear about the key updates that are happening around Bradford District and Craven from our partnership.

Copies of the agenda and meeting papers are available on the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership website.
