Knowledge & Library Services at Airedale NHS
Airedale NHS Knowledge & Library Services can be used by all ANHSFT staff and students on placement with the Trust. The library is located in the Education Centre at Airedale General Hospital (Building 18, B11) and contains around 3,000 books (Medical, Nursing, Management, Leisure reading and wellbeing titles). There is an adjoining study area and computer room which are accessible 24/7. Library staff can be contacted by phone and email to provide support with accessing online content and carrying out literature searches.

Library & Health Promotion Resource Centre – Bradford District Care Trust, provides a warm and welcoming service for all NHS staff, students and health promoters across the Bradford and Airedale district. The library contains resources on all aspects of health, but we have a specific focus on mental health, community healthcare, learning disabilities and health management. We enable staff to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. We provide a range of services which provide evidence, information and knowledge for staff and students wherever they are based.

Opening Hours:
The library is open and staffed Monday-Thursday 9.00-17.00 and Friday 9.00-16.30. BDCFT staff with an LMH security swipe card can access the Library 24 hours a day or go to Reception and sign for a temporary swipe card.

Knowledge & Library Services at Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
BTHFT Knowledge & Library Services can be used by all staff and students on placement with the Trust. The library is located in Field House Education Centre at Bradford Royal infirmary. The library space provides access to a wide range of textbooks, computers and printing facilities, and quiet study space. The library is staffed from 8:30 -17:00 Monday to Friday and is accessible 24/7 (Out of Hours access if via Swipe access with staff ID badge) .
The library can assist with information related tasks such as literature searches, article requests, proof reading of academic essays , recommendations and training on sources of healthcare information, and support for critical appraisal of research and systematic review work.
