Update 1pm Monday 10 November

System performance has now improved.  We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Thank you for your patience as practice teams work through any administrative backlog.

Update 10am Monday 10 November

Slow system performance is impacting around half of GP practices across Bradford District and Craven.

GP practices remain open and continue to provide care. Some practices are experiencing slower computer systems, this may mean longer waiting times or delays in responding to some patient requests today. The Health Informatics Service, which provides IT support to local GP practices, is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If you need urgent medical help and can’t contact your GP practice visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111.

Patients are asked to please bear with their practice teams, who are working hard to continue providing care and support while IT systems are being restored. These technical issues are beyond the control of individual practices.

Update 4pm Tuesday 4 November:

Throughout Tuesday 4 November, we have been in touch with affected practices to check performance and provide support. System monitoring shows that clinical systems are running more smoothly, with network connections now performing more efficiently. Most practices are able to use the system as normal, though some may still experience slower performance while work continues to fully restore services.
