Bradford, Airedale and Craven PLACE strives to continually enhance a patient safety culture where the voice of patients, their carers and families is fundamental to all that we do.
Patients are influential partners in driving, delivering and supporting change through constructive challenge and active engagement. Understanding the lived experience of our patients, their carers and families will support and enhance delivery of safe, quality, personalised care.
Foluke Ajayi, Chief Executive, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust said: “Patient voices and experiences should be central to the decisions we make about people’s local services. The Patient Safety Partners will make sure we continue our focus on patient centred care. They will hold us accountable in our decision-making process to be open and transparent.
“It is a great opportunity to have a real impact on local services and help us make a real difference to people’s lives. We pride ourselves in ‘acting as one’ health and care team across Bradford District and Craven, and look forward to welcoming our Patient Safety Partners into the team.
“This is a fantastic volunteering opportunity which can make a huge difference, so I would encourage anyone who passionate about patient safety to take a look and apply.”
