Governance handbook
Governance describes the way organisations are led and how decisions are made.
It describes the rules set by laws and codes of good practice that should be followed. Governance sets out how powers are shared and undertaken, and how the holders of power in an organisation can be held accountable for what they do.
Our governance handbook supports leaders, managers and staff working in Bradford district and Craven by providing easy access to key governance information. It also provides practical insight about how the partnership governance arrangements work for patients and members of the public.
The handbook underpins the partnership’s Strategic Partnering Agreement (SPA), which sets out the way health, care and the voluntary sector work together across. The SPA is a collaborative framework which formalises how we work together, make decisions, and share resources.
The governance handbook and the SPA guide our collaborative working arrangements.
You can find the contents of the handbook linked in the drop-down list below.
